Earwigs & Silverfish ID
Earwigs have been around for over 200,000 years. There are more than twenty different species of earwigs. They are a slender winged insect that are about 5mm-25mm in length. They have the distinguishable feature of having pincers. Earwigs are nocturnal and are only active at night choosing to hide during daylight. Earwigs can be a great nuisance when they move indoors during weather changes.

Silverfish have been around for 250,000 years. They are grey to bluish-silver in color and are tear-dropped in shape. They are nocturnal and are not active during the day. They can survive in nearly any environment but are usually found in areas with high humidity.
They can be identified through their feces which resembles small pepper flakes. They can also be identified through the damage that they do to clothing, cardboard, paper and wallpaper.
